The cPanel password provides you the access to control your complete web hosting package including:
- DNS
- Email
- Site Editing
- additional applications such as blog

Its important to keep your contact infomation up to date in cpanel and in your billing portal.

Note: The authorization code required to reset your cPanel account will be sent only to the listed email in you billing portal
located at:

https://secure.whatevercomputes.com/billing

(Note that billing password is not the same password as your domain.)

If you do not recieve this email, contact support by phone at 1-877-291-3269

To reset you cPanel password complete the following:

go to your web page and add  ":2082"

your domian will appear similar to this link

http://www.yourdomain.com:2082/

Your domain name will be substituted for  yourdomain.com
