Whatever Computes privacy policies and procedures for handling customer information has been created with the understanding that Internet technologies are still evolving and that Internet business methods are continuing to evolve to meet the needs and opportunities of the changing technologies. As a result, Whatever Computes policies and procedures are subject to change. In the course of serving its customers, Whatever Computes acquires, stores and transmits customer communications and information that customers may regard as private or sensitive. -service purchased from Whatever Computes
-domain name (if applicable)
-contact information
-the date the service was purchased.
However, customers may not opt out of receiving information from Whatever Computes Ltd. which is essential for maintaining or updating customers' accounts or system information. Most customers may access and modify their personal information via their online personal control panel/account information page. All other customers may access and modify their personal information by contacting the appropriate Whatever Computes billing Contact.

Domain name
Domain name customers who have registered a domain name with Whatever Computes and wish to change the Technical Contact from Whatever Computes Ltd. to another company, may send a request to register@whatevercomputes.com It is important to note that customer domain name registration information is made publicly available in the registry of domain names.

Disclosure of Customer Information and Communications
Whatever Computes will not otherwise disclose its customers' personal and account information unless Whatever Computes has reason to believe that disclosing such information is necessary to identify, make contact with, or bring legal action against someone who may be causing harm or interfering with the rights or property of Whatever Computes, Whatever Computes customers, or others, or where Whatever Computes has a good faith belief that the law requires such disclosure. Whatever Computes also will not, except for reasons stated below, disclose to third parties the contents of any electronic mail or other electronic communications that Whatever Computes stores or transmits for its customers. Whatever Computes makes every reasonable attempt to safeguard customer privacy. Except where required by regulation, court order, official authority or applicable law, Whatever Computes will not make available individual customer information or data to any third party. The customer understands, agrees and acknowledges that individual customer information or data collected will only be used by Whatever Computes for internal purposes, including but not limited to, improving Whatever Computes services or extending special offers to the customer. The customer understands, agrees and acknowledges that customers administrative contact information in relation to customers domain registration is public information and Whatever Computes is not and can not be obligated to safeguard such information and data from any third party


Electronic Newsletters

Whatevercomputes.com offers free electronic newsletters to users. Whatever Computes Ltd. gathers the e-mail addresses of users who voluntarily subscribe. Customers may remove themselves from any mailing list by following the instructions contained in every newsletter or on our site. They can also subscribe to the newsletters at the time of registration.

Surveys
whatevercomputes.com occasionally conducts customer surveys to better target our content and product inventory to our audience. We sometimes share the aggregated demographic information in these surveys with our advertisers and partners. We never share any information about specific individuals with any third party, except as noted previously.

Contests and sweepstakes
whatevercomputes.com offers contests and sweepstakes in which we request certain personal information. These contests and sweepstakes are conducted in full accordance with United States and Canadian federal and state laws. The full rules and all information about such contests are clearly posted during such events. Usage tracking
whatevercomputes.com tracks user traffic patterns throughout whatevercomputes.com and this information is correlated with data about individual users. Overall usage statistics, according to a user's domain name, browser type and MIME type gotten by reading this information from the browser string (information contained in every user's browser), are also broken down.
whatevercomputes.com also tracks and catalogs the search terms that customers enter into our search tools, but this tracking is never associated with individual users.

Cookies
A cookie is a small data file that certain Web sites write to your hard drive when you visit them. A cookie file can contain information such including a user ID that the site uses to track the pages you've visited. But the only personal information a cookie can contain is information you supply yourself. A cookie can't read data off your hard disk or read cookie files created by other sites.
